Leads the creative team in conceptualizing and crafting compelling content, visuals, and campaigns that resonate with the audience and convey the client’s message effectively.

The Art Director is responsible for developing and maintaining a creative vision by managing creative projects, ranging from graphic design to marketing. In this role, the Art Director will share a strong passion with the team along with a precise and trained eye for stylized and editorial imagery.

In this position, you will deliver a captivating visual message that captures the brand and its mission. You will be prepared to guide a talented team of designers and bring a combination of artistic, marketing, and business acumen to the role. The ideal candidate will have a natural aptitude for design and a motivated outlook to deliver new ideas to connect with new and dynamic audiences. This role will require hands-on managerial instincts to help designers and creative staff see through projects from start to finish. It is the responsibility of the Art Director to make sure the company’s message and brand is delivered cogently to consumers and that the company’s vision is always reflected in designers’ creative product down to images and visual style.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Execute and lead development of campaign assets for all initiatives, including the visual strategy for newly launched products
  • Successfully conceptualize campaign assets that will resonate with key demographics and target audiences
  • Elevate the brand by paying close attention to crisp, clear images and lighting while conveying a clear message of style, athleticism, and performance
  • Take charge of conceptual development for photoshoot campaigns from start to finish
  • Ensure brand standards are always met by collaborating with post production teams
  • Produce layouts for printing by pasting-up, marking-up, and finishing layouts.
  • Keeps up to date on industry trends, design techniques, emerging platforms and technologies to ensure brand artistic endeavors are innovative and cutting-edge
  • Provide clear direction to designers, illustrators, photographers, videographers, and any other relevant creative staff to meet project objectives and overall brand visibility and coherence

  • Creativity and ability to develop creative standards and overall company style
  • Outstanding managerial and supervisory skills to ensure project completion and timely task completion for relevant initiatives
  • Excellent conceptualization ability; ability to create a campaign vision, harness original graphics, copy, website content, social media and any other marketing materials
  • Present final concepts and coordinate production and dissemination for distribution
  • Develop creative briefs based on brainstorming work outlining schedules, direction, and deliverables for creative staff
  • Strong understanding of company brand to ensure visual elements consistently adhere to brand guidelines across various media platforms
  • Ability to navigate complex managerial dynamics; ability to provide constructive feedback to creative staff to produce excellence
